Drawing inspiration from both the precise alignment of Iyengar and the flow of Ashtanga Yoga, I guide students through a vinyasa practice promoting balance and stability with clear alignment cues while connecting the flow of movement with the breath.

 

For me, yoga has always been foremost about mindfulness, where asana is a tool for mind-body integration.

 

Infusing relevant yoga philosophy provides context in classes with periods of meditation to quiet the thoughts, ease the mind and connect with the body.

 

I give students guidance and focus which persists off the mat, ultimately connecting yoga practice to their daily lives.
